DR. MICHAEL PROVENZANO D.C., D.P.T.
Dr. Provenzano was born and raised on Long Island, New York. He attended Adelphi University and graduated with honors with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. He then went on to attend the University Of Bridgeport College Of Chiropractic receiving his doctorate degree with honors in 1996. Dr. Provenzano moved to North Andover MA where he has resided since 1998.
Following years of clinical practice and post graduate seminars, Dr. Provenzano became very familiar with much of the latest research and evidence showing the benefits of manual therapy when used in conjunction with physical therapy and rehabilitative exercises. As a result, Dr. Provenzano decided to further his education and broaden his scope of practice by enrolling in the doctoral program in Physical Therapy at Simmons College in Boston Ma. Following an extensive three and a half year curriculum with clinical rotations at; Salem Hospital in MA, Shaughnessy-Kaplan Rehabilitation Hospital, Health South, Beth Israel Hospital, The Lahey Clinic, Newton Wesley Hospital, Boston Medical Center, and Mass General Hospital, he received his doctorate in physical therapy with honors in May of 2007.
In his free time, Dr. Provenzano enjoys spending time with his friends and family as well as traveling, golfing, fishing, hiking, bike riding and exercising.
Samantha Miller D.P.T, P.T.
Dr. Samantha Miller attended the University of New Hampshire where she received her Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology: Athletic Training. She later attended MCPHS University in Worcester, MA where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She has clinical experience in inpatient acute care, pediatrics as well as out-patient orthopedic physical therapy. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and two English Bulldogs, boating, hiking, watching sports and working out.
KIM MONTEIRO P.T.A.
Kim Monteiro has an Associate of Science, Physical Therapist Assistant. She has over 25 years of experience in both out-patient and acute patient care settings. Her focus over the years has been with orthopedics, spinal conditions, as well as core and balance training. Kim’s acute care background has been a big attribute to the out-patient setting. When Kim is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves to travel, especially to tropical destinations. Kim also enjoys dancing, taking Zumba and Spin classes and in the summertime, she loves camping and taking motorcycle rides. Kim is passionate about the environment and wellness. In her spare time, Kim also helps people and families “go green” and get healthy with an international health and wellness company.
AMANDA GUNNING P.T.A.
Amanda Gunning has an Associate of Science, Physical Therapy Assistant from North Shore Community College. Amanda gained her clinical experience in school in both outpatient and pediatric care. In her free time, Amanda enjoys dancing, weight lifting, yoga, and reading.
KATELYN RICHARDSON P.T. Aide
Katelyn Richardson has a Bachelor's in Sports Medicine and minor in Biology from James Madison University. Her experience on the court and field with Division 1 Athletes at JMU helps with her knowledge as a Physical Therapy Aide. Katelyn recently graduated with a degree in American Sign Language Interpreting and will take the second half of her Interpreting boards exam in the spring. Katelyn will be attending Merrimack College in May to earn her Masters in Athletic Training. Katelyn aspires to become a Physician Assistant who specializes in Orthopedics/Sports Medicine and is able to accommodate Deaf/HOH patients. In her free time, Katelyn enjoys running cross country, tennis, figure skating, and is an All-American Athlete in the High Jump and Steeplechase.
LAURA SOUZA Office Administrative
Laura Sousa is our front desk administrator. She has a background in fitness and healthcare. Laura enjoys meeting new patients and making them feel welcome and comfortable. Laura has raised three children and lives in Andover with her husband and youngest son. In her free time, Laura loves spending time with her family, going to bible study, and playing ice hockey.
